  AIAS Workshops
AIAS coordinates 6-day, ground-based workshops in practical dog obedience training and instruction through its Strategic Partner Alliance with the Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors. Membership in ACABC is required (dues are US $125 per year). Additional workshops are offered in clinical behavior practices, which include history taking, behavioral testing, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and family counseling for dogs with abnormal behavior problems. Students work with many breeds of dogs and actual clients at behavior facilities and dog training school businesses in this internship/seminar series.

Workshops feature Gentle Leader headcollars, clicker training methodology, and positive motivational training techniques.

ACABC workshops are held by Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors (ACABC) certified member instructors. Specific locations will be announced during registration periods, via updates on this page.

Registration for ACABC seminars will be handled by AIAS. If you have previously taken one of our courses, please make sure to continue to use the same username & password when filling out the workshop registration form.
