AIAS's mission is to prepare you to succeed in your career working with animals. We have therefore arranged no-credit financial aide through our partnership with TFC Credit Corporation for those who qualify. The loan amount does not include non-refundable $25.00 loan application fees, non-refundable $25.00 registration fees, lab fees, books, etc.

All loans follow all American Institute for Animal Science, Inc.& TFC policies, guidelines and agreements.

    Instructions:
  1. Open the Application for Student Loan (.pdf) Please be patient while it opens.
  2. Fill out the application in its entirety by following the instructions inside the application. You can fill out the form online. Due to a limitation in Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin, you can fill out the form on-screen but you cannot save it to your hard drive.
  3. Print the results & sign it.
  4. Fax the application.
    Once loan has been approved:
  1. Fill out the online course registration form for each course you have been approved for and pay, via our secure online gateway, the down payment for each course/workshop, any lab fees, loan application fees & course/workshop registration fees for each online course/workshop registration.

AIAS offers not-for-profit IRS 501(c)(3) animal rescue organizations and human service organizations a $1200.00 scholarship, toward the CBC theoretical component for those who qualify. $200.00 is deducted from each required course, at the time of registration, paid via our online registration and payment process.

Requirements for Approval:

  1. Copy of the organization's 501(c)(3) exemption letter.
  2. Copy of the bylaws stating the name of the president or director of your organization. or
  3. The minutes of the board of directors electing officers or director.
  4. Notarized document on the organization's letterhead with the names of the officer or director of your organization and the names of the individual(s) registering for the CBC program courses.

Does your employer (veterinary practice, dog training business, government agency, animal shelter, etc) offer tuition reimbursement? Will your new skills help to add additional revenue or services to your company, organization or professional practice? If so, here's how to go about taking classes at AIAS and getting partial or full reimbursement from your employer - for those who qualify!
  1. Ask your employer if they have a training program or if they reimburse expenses for career or job skills training.
  2. If they do, please e-mail with your company's billing information and Purchase Order number. AIAS will then send your company the invoice.
  3. Once AIAS receives a guaranteed payment voucher from your company, you will be given access to your courses.

Student sponsored by "employer tuition plans" who do not enclose a check for the full amount due registration must submit a letter from the sponsoring employer authorizing AIAS to process the registration at the company"s expense and assuring payment in full receipt of them (i.e. sucessful completion of course or minimum grade required) must make full payment up front. There is no guarantee that the condition will be fulfilled and that the company will make any payment.

AIAS is affiliated with various states that offer financial aid through the "Workforce Investment Act" and "Workforce Rehabilitation Act" for people who are unemployed or physically challenged that wish to further their education.

AIAS offers a 50% tuition discount for each course to those residing in a 3rd world country for those who qualify. You must send an official copy of residence as an attachment to: before you register. Payment is accepted online only in US dollars by credit card or online check via our secure payment gateway. All banking information will be verified before the payment transaction will be processed. Fraudulent registrations/payments will be prosecuted.

Once you are approved to receive this tuition type, you will be emailed instructions regarding how to register for the course(s) you have chosen.

On January 12, 2005 the faculty and administration of the American Institute of Animal Science formed the American College of Applied Science, a Florida Department of Education, Commission for Independent Education licensed degree granting college offering graduate, undergraduate and non-degree programs in the animal sciences.
